Yuliya Kril

Yuliya joined Mitchell, Bardyn & Zalucky LLP. in 2026. Her primary area of practice is family law although she also has experience in civil litigation and some criminal matters. Yuliya works closely with clients to provide practical, straightforward legal guidance tailored to their individual situations and approaches every matter with empathy, acknowledging the emotional complexities involved. While she prioritizes resolving disputes efficiently and amicably outside of court whenever possible, she is also a confident and strong advocate when litigation is required.

Called to the Ontario Bar in early 2023, Yuliya has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Small Claims Court. She takes pride in delivering compassionate, results-driven representation and strives to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients.

Yuliya is fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, and has a working knowledge of Polish. Having lived and worked in Madrid, Spain for a couple of years, she also speaks a bit of Spanish. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys reading, cooking, watching, and attending sports events, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a dedicated advocate for Ukraine and remains closely connected to her community. Yuliya serves on the Board of Directors of the Ukrainian Canadian Bar Association, where she is also the Chair of the Communications Committee.
